Fire alarm system connection module
Connection module
Product description
The connection module enables the use of the “active low” input on the escape door module for emergency unlocking by a fire alarm system in accordance with the requirements of DIN EN 13637:2015.
The connection module is contacted directly at the connections of the escape door modules on the door. The fire alarm system supplies 12-24 V DC centrally to supply the module. In the event of a fire, this control voltage is switched off by the central fire alarm system and thus triggers an emergency unlocking on the escape door system.
The input on the connection module for the central fire alarm system is protected against reverse polarity. This simplifies wiring and reduces the possibility of errors.
Note
- In the case of ePED products with fire alarm system input or the current TSB controller, an input is already provided for the central control with 24 V DC.
