Product description
- The EH-Exit Controller is mounted under the handle or the panic bar on the door.
- When the handle or panic bar is pressed, the EH-Exit Controller moves down automatically and enables the emergency exit door to be used. An alarm is also triggered in the process. A key movement to the right (in direction of the arrow RESET) and pushing up the EH-Exit Controller into its original position will silence the continuous alarm signal.
- If the EH-Exit Controller is only tapped by the handle or the panic bar, a pre-alarm sounds. This alarm stops as soon as the handle or panic bar is released. Only when the handle or the panic bar is pressed completely does the main alarm sound, which can only be silenced with the key.
- A permanent release of the handle or the panic bar can be set without triggering an alarm. Turning the key to the right (in direction of arrow RESET) enables the EH-Exit Controller to be pushed down past the alarm position. Once the EH-Exit Controller is engaged in the permanent release position, the key can be removed again. To restore the starting position, turn the key to the right and push the EH-Exit Controller up. Once the key is removed, an alarm is triggered when the handle or panic bar is actuated.
Area of Application
- Escape routes
- Solid leaf doors
- Tubular frame doors
- Glass frame doors
- Fire doors
- Doors with panic bars
Note
- If the EH-Exit Controller is mounted on a panic bar, it should be mounted in the first third of the panic bar, measured from the lock side.
- If the EH-Exit Controller is operated via the mains module and not the 9 V battery, the battery must not be connected.
- We recommend changing the battery annually. For this, the key must be turned to the left, then the housing can be removed and the battery replaced.
- The volume of the standard horn depends on the voltage. The volume is approx. 95 dB (9 V), 100 dB (12 V) or 108 dB (24 V) per 1 m distance.
- Splash-proof
- With 10 m connection cable
