With the so-called “caretaker function”, an authorised person can set specific functions directly on the door via a reader with PIN keypad.

The following functions can be set:

Permanent release – the door is permanently open or open for a specific period. This means that a meeting room can be open for the duration of a meeting, for example, so that participants can access the room without identification.

Permanent locking – the door is permanently locked and can not even be accessed by authorised persons. This means that a side entrance can be locked for the duration of maintenance work, for example.

Door code – unlimited validity or valid for a specific period of time. This means that access to a sports hall can be granted after 6pm for two hours via the entered door code, for example.
