• The panic push bar type A has been specially designed for panic door locks in accordance with the requirements of EN 1125. Particularly in areas with high public traffic, it is imperative that doors can be opened with little effort and over the entire width of the door. EN 1125 states that people who are unfamiliar with the environment must be able to open doors with just one movement in case of danger. The door must open intuitively, smoothly and even in poor light conditions without any delay.
• The panic push bar type A is suitable for use on escape route doors as well as fire and smoke rated doors. Thanks to the modular structure of the push bar, it can be used for both single-leaf and double-leaf doors as well as on the active and passive leaf. Versions with oval rose and short plate are available for use on both wide and narrow style doors.
• Thanks to the particularly good efficiency and low release forces, operation is extremely smooth and pleasant for the user.
• The push bar is designed in such a way that pinching is nearly impossible for narrow double-leaf doors. Installation is very simple and possible on both DIN left and DIN right doors. The push bar is fastened using standard holes suitable in combination with locks in accordance with DIN 18251 and fittings in accordance with DIN 18273.
• The modern and timeless design fits seamlessly into the design of the other ASSA ABLOY products. Stainless steel and aluminium are available as surface materials.
