As of CLIQ Web Manager version 9.1, the creation of the security certificate for the programming key is facilitated. This certificate is required to log in to the CLIQ Web Manager software using your programming key to manage your CLIQ master key system.
The creation is done via the CLIQ Connect PC App from version 1.7. You can see the exact procedure in the enclosed videos.
There is a special feature when saving security certificates in the Firefox browser.

You use CLIQ Web Manager (CWM) on your own server and would also like to set up CLIQ Connect (ccAPP) on mobile devices? Unfortunately, the setup is a bit more complex, therefore we would like to give you a brief explanation here.

You can find the current version of CLIQ Connect (ccPC) on our Website or directly under cliqconnect.assaabloy.com
Please carry out the installation and follow the instructions.
During the installation process, the settings are then requested:
Attention:
After installing CLIQ Connect PC, it is automatically stored in the Windows autostart folder and thus starts itself after each Windows restart.
Additional configuration options (if required):
After the installation has been completed, further configurations can be made. To do this, right-click on the CLIQ Connect PC symbol and select "Configuration".
Here you can also set up a proxy server and select the old enrolment method.

If you should perform a .CSV export in your CLIQ Web Manager installation, please note how a .CSV file must be opened correctly.
Otherwise, information may be displayed incorrectly.
Example: An Org. number with the designation 1.1.1 would be recognised by Excel as a date format and displayed as follows: (01.01.2000).
To avoid misrepresentation, please proceed as described below:

The system data is uploaded directly to the CLIQ Data Center (DCS) by ASSA ABLOY after the production of ordered cylinders/keys. The owners of a programming key with the user role Superadmin/ Admin will receive an email directly from CLIQ Web Manager to import the system data.
For more information, please see here .

Domain names (DNS) are used when operating the CLIQ Web Manager. These refer to IP addresses, which can change.
A general specification of the domain names and the IP addresses is not useful in advance.
Various servers are available and the URL addresses (domain names/DNS) are only specified in the initialisation e-mail for the new CLIQ master key system.
If you still want an overview of the known addresses, you will find it in the following FAQ:

The CLIQ Web Manager uses SHA-2 certificates (SHA-256).
Both the certificate for the programming keys, wall programming devices and the server bundle are based on this.

The licence is a time and extensive limited "permission" to use the CLIQ Web Manager and its possible functions. If you wish to use additional functions in CLIQ Web Manager, please order them from your CLIQ partner so that we can provide you with a new licence for download via the CLIQ Data Center (DCS).

Remote devices are programming devices that retrieve jobs via the server and transfer them to E2/E3 keys or programming keys. These are available as wall-mounted devices for indoor and outdoor use and as mobile devices for use on the move.

The Digital Content Server (DCS) provides services related to the CLIQ Web Manager. Here, system data is stored, certificates are created and extended, and any firmware required is made available.
In the case of hosting systems, the CLIQ Web Manager is permanently connected to this server; purchasing customers can interrupt the connection and log on to this server manually.
If you are a purchasing customer and do not have a permanent connection, you must log in directly to DCS as described here (2.1 MB)

In CLIQ Web Manager, cylinders can be combined into cylinder groups. This is particularly suitable if the system comprises more than 1,500 cylinders and mainly E3 keys are to be used.
Cylinder groups save memory space on the E3 key because a group only needs one memory space - no matter how many cylinders are included in this group. When a new cylinder is added to this group, the E3 key does not need to be reprogrammed because it knows the cylinder group itself.
This is a function that makes sense for large master key systems that are relatively rigid (cylinder location/cylinder group is not constantly changed) and in which E3 keys are usually used.
The group can be changed by programming the cylinder with the programming key.
The cylinder grouping function must be ordered for a master key system directly with the initial order.

Firmware is the microcode that represents the "operating system" of the electronic elements (keys, cylinders, remote programming devices). Depending on the firmware, different individual functions can be enabled.
Example: Loading programming keys on the wall programming device.
The wall programming devices require at least firmware 6 - this firmware can be ordered as VS/CS/NS23.
Programming keys require at least firmware 12.3- existing keys with older firmware cannot be updated, new programming keys must be ordered.
You as the user can update the firmware for E2/E3 keys and remote programming devices. To do this, order new firmware as an article from your CLIQ partner and we will then provide this firmware for your master key system via the CLIQ Data Center (DCS).

1. The first backup (.a2b) must be sent to CLIQ Software Support via the CLIQ partner for checking whether there might be problems with the database during the import. Please remember that the backup must not contain encryption or open orders!
In addition, the backup must have been created at least from the Manager version 3.6.10 or higher.
=> You can continue working in your CLIQ Manager software in the meantime!
2. The second backup for the final import is also required as an .a2b file.
To do this, please create a final data backup (.a2b). Please note that CLIQ Manager must be running in the current version and the last extension file must have been imported before the final backup is created for migration.
As of this date, the system is suspended until the final import into CLIQ Web Manager.
The changeover should therefore be coordinated with CLIQ Software Support.
Please also note the entry "Migration from CLIQ Manager to CLIQ Web Manager: which information will not be migrated?"

This is a software certificate that is required for authentication of:
These are generated by the Digital Content Server (DCS) during initial commissioning.
The security certificates must be renewed at least every two years (have an expiry date). You as the administrator will receive a reminder e-mail from the programme in time.

When a certificate is created, a one-time password is sent to the owner of the programming key. This is for increased security to create a security certificate for a programming key.
The e-mail address of the secondary programming key owner is stored in the CLIQ Web Manager by the main programming key owner.
